- My model was flying with an electric outrunner motor equivalent to the .46 nitro . I was using a 5000mah 4S battery plus an extra small battery for the receiver. Thi ssetup provided the plane long flying times and lots of power at takeoff .
- For the first time I installed a kill swith which was more a kill cable than a real switch . It consisted of a small piece of thicj silicon wire and two male 4mm plugs in the ends . This was attched on the female plugs that were glued on the plane and it was closing the cirquit. Easy and safe for the hands .
- The plane was lost due to my inexperience and a little bad luck. I entered it in front of the sun and for some moments I was not able to see at all . Result....?? Crash of course.... !! !!
- Regardless my fault , the plane was very stable at its flight . Very easily manueverable and very good construction . This series of models made by Thunder Tiger is made of ABS plastic . The body is strengthened with some plastic parts/ribs and the wings are filled with foam . Very good idea as the model is very easy to transport in the car with no damage . It is also very easy to paint and to clean . The only disadvantage is that it is a littlee more heavy if you compare it with a similar size balsa/ply model.
- My opinion? I would reccomend it to everybody even to a beginner . Tips ? use good quality cianoacrylic glue for the plastic parts and a good epoxy glue to attach teh wings and the engine mount plate. I also removed the wheels and used bigger ones in order to be able to land .. everywhere ....
